Kristin Winet, Ph.D.

Program Administrator, Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, & Learning (CIRTL)

Dr. Winet (she/her/hers) is the Program Administrator for the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) and a Lecturer in the Writing Program in the Department of English. She received her Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English from UArizona in 2016, focusing on finding ways to promote diversity and equity in contemporary travel writing practices. Prior to returning to UArizona, she taught at a small liberal arts college where she also coordinated writing-across-the-curriculum workshops and directed the first-year and academic writing programs. In her current role, Dr. Winet develops professional development programs for graduate students and postdocs and facilitates courses, workshops, and learning communities in writing pedagogy and inclusive teaching.
