APR Mid-Cycle Reviews
About the Mid-Cycle Review
In compliance with ABOR policy and in support of continuous program improvement, the APR Mid-Cycle Review occurs approximately 3–3.5 years after each 7-year comprehensive Academic Program Review (APR). The Mid-Cycle Review provides programs, Heads, and Deans an opportunity to document progress on prior APR recommendations, reflect on student learning outcomes assessment, and identify any new challenges or opportunities that have emerged since the last review.
Purpose of the Mid-Cycle Review
- Track progress on APR committee recommendations
- Document ongoing work related to student learning outcomes assessment
- Identify new developments, challenges, or opportunities since the last APR
- Support continuous improvement ahead of the next comprehensive review
The process is intended to be focused, reflective, and concise, rather than a full program self-study.
