The Office of Academic Affairs plays a vital role in advancing the university’s academic mission by overseeing accreditation, assessment, and academic program reviews. It fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning by supporting Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs), the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL), the Learning Assistants program, and the development of Collaborative Learning Spaces. These initiatives (FLCs, CRITS, and CLSs), which promote student engagement and faculty development, have transitioned to the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT) to further integrate resources and enhance support for instructional excellence. The Office of Academic Affairs remains committed to strengthening academic quality and fostering collaboration across disciplines. More information about the team is provided below.
