Joe Gregory

The focus of Dr. Gregory's current work is the intersection of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), spacecraft systems engineering, and semantic web technologies. He is interested in the development of ontologies to support systems engineering activities and extend existing MBSE capabilities. Previous work has focussed on early functional validation of spacecraft - with particular emphasis on the concept of operations (ConOps).

He has teaching experience as a TA on the ‘Space Systems’ courses at the University of Bristol, UK, and has co-supervised masters’ level research projects. As a Postdoc Pathway fellow, he would like to gain more experience in course development, scheduling and modern teaching strategies that can be applied to a systems engineering course.
