Dr. Matea Santiago is a postdoctoral researcher in the mathematics department. Her research interests are computational fluid dynamics related to biological applications at the organismal level. She is passionate about mentoring undergraduate research and will seek a job at a primarily undergraduate institution after her current postdoctoral position. She is interested in DEI work in STEM relating to teaching. Her goal in applying to become a Postdoc Pathway fellow is to gain more knowledge and experience on how to teach effectively.
