Elizabeth Green

School of Plant Sciences

I study disease ecology of plant pathogens, broadly asking questions about how plant pathogens interact with the microbial and plant communities. My current work focuses on how plants utilize root exudates to recruit the rhizosphere microbiome and defend against pathogens in the soil. Through CIRTL, I hope to learn how to design engaging curriculum and improve my skills as an effective and inclusive educator.
